It was a short story that I enjoyed. I love when people write stories from local legends, then gives it a twist. This e-book also gives a taste of various characters that I hope will have their own stories someday. While the author doesn't have the formal writing skills of the `big time' names, she has her own writing style I call `down to earth & real'.It's really hard to write about the Cajun culture unless you know it. I'm happy that the Cajuns were represented in a good light. I loved reading about local places that I've seen and grew up around. It makes the book more real for me. Only thing I'd ask the author to do is add a little bit more substance. Possibly elaborate more within the book during certain parts to make the scenes more real or to help readers get a deeper connection with the characters and overall story. Otherwise, I think this new author has a promising start. I'm looking forward to book #2.

I would have never guessed that someone I grew up with would be an author. I bought the book and started reading it with excitement. I really enjoyed the story and the twist that unfolded. I good werewolf story set in Southwest Louisiana and hints of familiar places from childhood.
Good book! Loved reading about all the places I knew about. Can't wait to read the next one. Already bought it.
I didn't expect it to end that way but I was a great read. I did love the ending but hated how it finish just left me wanting more can't wait to read book 2
This story, although a work of fiction, had some familiar persona's in it. I literally could not find a stopping point to go to bed. I had to read the entire story in one sitting. Curious was I to find out where the story was going as it seemed to give me a hint of reality. I could not figure out where the werewolf legend would begin. Very exquisite piece of work. I do recommend this one and anxiously await the next.
Being a Cajun and knowing of the folklore in "Louziana", this story was perfectly written and had me to the point where I could not put it down. The author inscribes the diversity that is our culture in an amazing way. Cannot wait to read the rest of the series.
It is an interesting story. I would have rated it higher if it didn't have so many spelling errors. I would be interested in reading about what happens next.
Story would be great if you can get past the extremely large amounts of verbage errors. Had to constantly reread passages to figure out why a word was used when it should have been another. She also destroyed the English language. It totally destroyed the flow of the story.
